Five Steps To Living Positively
The seeds of intention produce the trees of tomorrow,
Positivity in every thought springs joy in life’s sorrow.
Do you suffer from negative thoughts?
Do you feel drained after a failure?
Do you find it hard to motivate daily?
Do you find it hard to get out of bed due to a negative mindset?
Human Life Is Full Of Suffering
We all suffer from the demons in our minds. The voice that lives within tells you that you are living a bad life. It gives you a hundred reasons not to laugh. It provides a hundred reasons not to enjoy this life. You start to compare your life with that of others. You begin to believe that your life is much worse. Incidentally, “the others,” think the same. The grass is always greener on the other side. Trust me, we all suffer from the voice. DO. NOT. LISTEN. TO. IT.
Our thoughts result in actions, and actions manifest reality. Those who think positively observe positive changes in their lives, while those who think negatively observe negativity.
Two Spirits In The Human Mind
Our minds are made up of two spirits, and our life is a constant battle between the two. The positive spirit guides us through difficult times and pushes us to think about positive thoughts. At the same time, the negative energy moves us towards the bad, ugly, and negative in this world. We suffer when the negative spirit overpowers the positive spirit. We feel discouraged, sad, and depressed when this occurs. At the same time, we grow in life when the positive spirit can overpower the negative spirit. We feel happy, joyous, and optimistic in life.
This is the most critical battle that one needs to fight. Remember that any situation can be looked at from the lens of both positivity and negativity. Failures can be looked at as learning experiences or as signs that we are incapable of succeeding. The optimist will see it as a glass half full, and the pessimist will see it half empty. The thought process is one of the significant factors that impact essential projects in our lives.
Lessons From The Power Of Positive Thinking
Norman Vincent Peale, in his book “The Power Of Positive Thinking,” suggests the following rules for improving our thought process:
- Picture yourself succeeding.
- Think a positive thought to drown out the negative thought.
- Minimize obstacles.
- Do not copy or compare yourself with others.
- Develop strong self-respect.
- Believe that you receive power from God.
