Learn & Grow!

The ray of hope, the light of joy,
Jewels of God, every girl, and boy.
Awakened minds, flowers of innocence,
Learn & Grow, to life’s essence.

This poem addresses the children in our society. The children are a ray of hope from God for a better future. In order to grow, we must strive hard to make it easy for them to learn, and get educated. Education will awaken their minds and bring new ideas, and energy to their lives. Children will build the future of our society and therefore it is necessary for us to ensure that they have enough know-how, experience, and resources to make the right decisions in times of need.

We need to teach them about the evils that plague our society such as abuse, harassment, racism, etc., and at the same empower them with the knowledge as to how society has battled these ills in the past. They are full of energy, creativity, and innocence and will surely come up with better ways of organizing our society.

We remain optimistic about our future, and therefore, it is our responsibility as parents, guardians, teachers, leaders, etc. to lead the next generation towards the path of knowledge, and education.
